Today you'll be working on your press release rough draft. If you are not working the entire time, you will not finish. Please stay on task!
Your rough draft needs to be submitted to me by the end of the block, either by printing a copy or via email (livezej@gcsnc.com).
You will be writing your paper using MLA format. MLA format is the way your paper is organized.

- Open a Microsoft Word document.
- At the top left (not in the header area), type the following information. Your heading should look like the image to the left. Make sure that you are typing in Times New Roman size 12 & that you double space everything. If you need help, ask Ms. Livezey!
- You are required to have the following in order to get an A: 5 paragraphs, 1 thesis (in the first paragraph), 3 supporting details, 2 quotes, 3 references (your 3 sources), 1 conclusion (last paragraph).
Do not waste your time getting off task! If you need to do additional research in order to find more information, quotes, etc. please use this time but know that your draft is due by the end of the block.
