The NC College Application Week is November 2 -- 6. In order to best prepare you to be admitted, I need to know where you stand in regards to SAT/ACT scores.
The last day to register for the SAT is October 27 (next Tuesday). It is IMPERATIVE that you register for this exam if you need to take/retake the SAT because starting in March, the SAT format is going to change completely. This means you will no longer be able to take advantage of super scoring -- if you don't know what super scoring is, please ask me!
In order to receive credit for today's work, you need to document the following on your ticket out the door:
- Your SAT/ACT scores.
- You also need to register and write down your confirmation number for the November 7 SAT -- EVERYONE should take it because it's FREE! Seize the opportunity! If you are not registering, I need a 1 sentence explanation why. Take off work, make the time, and get going.
- Your TOP 5 college choices (so I can see if your scores are within the accepted range for the school you want to go to). You have been working hard on this with Ms. Windbush so you should know this off the top of your head!
Once you complete those steps, you need to go to CFNC.org and complete a practice college application. If you need help setting up an account, let me know.

At 10:20, you need to be logged off with your area cleaned up and your seat pushed in. We will then travel silently back to my room.
