AVID Work 11.30

We are now halfway through the second quarter -- these last few weeks will be your only opportunity to pull up your grades for the first semester (if that has been an issue for you). Please do not insult all the work that you have done thus far by slacking off -- it's not May yet!

You have a few things to do today that will be based on your work ethic for the past few weeks.

1. Fill in your green sheet via the NCEdCloud. Show that to me so that I can give you credit.
2. While you have that pulled up, look at what your lowest grade is and make your plan for the week -- when will you stay after? What assignments are you missing? 
3. If you haven't submitted your Writing Wednesday essay from a couple of weeks ago for this class, I highly recommend you work on that now. You can check to see if you submitted it in PowerSchool. Hint: if you haven't submitted it, you probably have a failing grade in AVID. Click here to print your own copy. You can edit it in Microsoft Word and type it if you like.
4. If you are done all of this, you should spend this time applying to scholarships. Some scholarships have deadlines within the first week of December -- tomorrow is December 1! Please be aware of this and work HARD so that you are not scrambling.

**You must show proof that you submitted at least 3 scholarship applications by the end of this week.**
